Principia near St. Louis (this is them at a reunion there) was built for the sons and daughters of Christian Scientists. Dad was the student body president of its first four year graduating class. My uncle was the third. Dad gave a speech at the laying of the cornerstone of its chapel. Our family endowed scholarships there that became anonymous when my brother and I attended.

My father and his brother Bill and the Moore sister Bill married, Virginia, on the beach at the cottage on one of those weekends.

Even when I visited there as a child, when the faucet was turned on in the cottage, a pump sucked water out of Lake Erie. It was that clean. We didn't drink it, but we washed dishes and brushed our teeth with it.

My Dad's brother worked with film and so had 16mm movie cameras early on. His footage of the cottage (some prewar) I have transferred to video tape and am working to compress it to put it here, but the net and most modems really aren't up to it yet. This may take a while.
